John and Go Safari were awesome! My friend and I arranged a personalized trip to summit Kilimanjaro, and added a trip to Uganda to go gorilla trekking. They were more than willing to accommodate us, and made sure everything went smoothly.

They handled all the many logistical arrangements in the weeks before our arrival so that we had one organized itinerary, and they did it all at a very fair and competitive price. (My friend and I met other groups that were charged twice as much for similar services).

For the Kilimanjaro portion of our trip, we had an incredibly hard-working and friendly support crew that really made it possible for us to make it to the summit. We were continually impressed by their stamina, and the help they provided us. Our two primary guides alone had a combined count of approximately 200 trips to the summit! You can’t beat that sort of experience, and it showed.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food we were served along the way, and very appreciative of the weight our crew carried to make that possible. My friend and I chose the Lemosho route to the summit to maximize our potential for success. We were actually able to make very good time and shave a full day off of our planned itinerary.

I was shocked at how close we were able to get to the gorillas. They are incredible to see, and the patriarch of the group even charged right by me, which was exciting to say the least. It was an experience I’ll never forget.
